South African singer and musician, Nicole, has been described by her audiences as an exceptionally sensational and versatile performer. So much so, that corporate companies regularly seek out the services of this talented artist for their events. Nicole communicates with her audiences on an individual basis and is often called back on to stage for numerous encores accompanied by standing ovations. Nicole’s performances entice her audiences out of their chairs, onto their feet. As a result, through the years, she has acquired a far-reaching following of devoted admirers and enthusiasts.

Born and bred in Pretoria, Nicole’s musical talent developed at age nine, whilst her passion for singing was established when she was fourteen.

A sensational voice and stage personality are natural gifts. The talented songstress Nicole has certainly developed and refined her musical talent and voice to the extent that she is regarded as one of South Africa’s most versatile entertainers. Nicole – also an accomplished musician – is equally proficient with the Soprano and Alto Saxophone as with the flute. She has successfully completed her B. Tech Degree in Jazz from the Tshwane University of Technology.

This gifted vocalist and musician delivers seasoned performances of a variety of musical  genres from Jazz and Pop to African, Country, French, Rock and Afrikaans music. Nicole is equally comfortable with performing background entertainment as she is with stepping in the glow of the spotlight for a Cabaret performance. She also specializes is performing music for dinner dances and includes all the classic contemporary dance songs. She gracefully alternates between pure instrumental pieces and spectacular vocal songs.

Nicole’s extensive repertoire encompasses original and cover versions, including the favorites: “Mack the Knife” , “Midnight Special”, “Special Star”, “Doo Bee Doo”, “No Regrets”, “Milord”, "Black Velvet”, "Droom van my geluk” to name but a few.

Her “Beautiful Africa” CD is a lively, Proudly South African production. It contains 10 Brand new songs and 3 rearranged covers (recorded by popular demand) including a vocal and saxophone version of, the classic Glen Miller song, “In the Mood”.

Her latest CD "All Jazzed Up!" has been released by popular demand and is a compilation of popular swing/jazz tunes.

Nicole has performed as guest artist on numerous TV shows including Noot vir Noot, Felicia, Pasella.

Nicole was the overall winner of the Pretoria Beeld Eisteddfod in 1999 and 2001 in the vocal category and was also overall winner of the Reach for the Stars competition in 1998 and 2000 in the instrumental category. Upon invitation, Nicole performed a two week concert tour, with young up and coming artists, in Japan in 1999. Nicole was also part of the National Big Band for Vocals and Saxophone at the Standard Bank Youth Jazz Festival in Grahamstown in 2002 and 2004.

Nicole has established herself as immensely popular amongst a broad spectrum of cultures and mixed audiences. She specializes in superior performances at corporate and private functions as well as weddings. Amongst the top corporate companies that have booked her, for their distinguished events, include ABSA, Daimler Chrysler, Peugeot, Liberty Life, FNB, Emperors Palace and Standard Bank.

Nicole is not only a performer but also a music teacher at Dainfern College in Johannesburg. She teaches young and old voice, saxophone, flute and recorder. “Teaching is very rewarding and I love passing on any knowledge I have to my students, helping them become the best musicians/singers they can be.”
